About EUR CoinVertible
Few stablecoins carry the pedigree of a globally systemic bank, but EUR CoinVertible does: it is issued by SG-FORGE, the regulated digital-assets arm of Societe Generale. Launched in 2023 and initially aimed at professional investors, it has since opened to a broader base and expanded onto Stellar, Solana and the XRP Ledger alongside Ethereum. As a MiCA electronic-money token, it is authorised by France's ACPR, and every coin is backed by euro reserves held with a custodian. Holders in the European Economic Area can redeem directly at par after clearing KYC, sanctions and permitted-transferee checks. Its appeal is less about DeFi yield than about giving institutions a euro settlement asset that carries a familiar bank name and a compliance perimeter built for regulators from the start.
