Schuman EUROP

Named after Robert Schuman, one of the founding architects of the European Union, EUROP wears its continental ambitions openly. Issued by Schuman Financial under the oversight of France's ACPR, it is a MiCA electronic-money token backed fully by cash and cash equivalents, with reserves audited by KPMG and safeguarded at institutions including Societe Generale. Any verified holder can redeem it at par for euros, not just market makers. The token made headlines in May 2025 as the first MiCA-compliant euro stablecoin integrated on the XRP Ledger, and it also runs on Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, Polygon and Plasma. Schuman pitches EUROP squarely at payments, onchain foreign exchange and tokenised real-world assets, betting that a purpose-built European coin can take share from dollar stablecoins inside Europe's own regulatory walls.
