About Eurite
Behind Eurite sits an actual bank: Banking Circle, a Luxembourg-licensed payments institution that positions EURI as one of the first bank-issued euro stablecoins to meet MiCA's e-money rules. The token is backed one-for-one by euro cash and can be redeemed at par by verified holders. Its profile rose sharply when Binance listed it in August 2024 as one of the earliest MiCA-regulated euro coins on the exchange, giving traders a compliant euro pair as older stablecoins faced European delisting. EURI circulates as an ERC-20 on Ethereum and a BEP-20 on BNB Smart Chain, with its smart contracts audited by outside security firms. The bet is that a bank's balance sheet and a clear regulatory license will matter more to European users than the deep liquidity of dollar incumbents.
