NANO Nuclear Energy

Nuclear microreactors are the bet behind NANO Nuclear Energy, a young company developing small, portable reactors it hopes can power remote sites, mines, data centers and eventually space missions. Its lead designs, marketed as KRONOS and ZEUS, are still on the drawing board and in early regulatory review with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, not yet built or licensed.

Incorporated in New York in 2022, the company went public soon after and describes itself as the first nuclear microreactor firm listed in the U.S. It is pre-revenue, so its value rests on the promise of its technology, its fuel and transport ambitions, and the broader wave of interest in nuclear power. That makes it a speculative, story-driven stock rather than one backed by current earnings.
