Kanzhun runs BOSS Zhipin, the app that has become China's dominant way to find a job. Rather than posting static resumes, it connects candidates and hiring managers directly through chat, letting the two sides message each other on a mobile-first platform that leans heavily on recommendation algorithms. That direct model helped it leapfrog older recruitment sites and build one of the largest online talent marketplaces in the country. The company earns its money from employers paying to reach candidates. Founded in 2014 and based in Beijing, it trades in the United States under the ticker BZ, which means it carries the extra risks that come with Chinese ADRs: regulatory crackdowns, data-security scrutiny and the health of China's labor market all feed into the stock. Hiring demand among small and mid-sized Chinese firms is its core driver.
