About Quantoz USDQ

USDQ was among the first dollar tokens cleared under Europe's MiCA regime, issued by Quantoz Payments, a Dutch electronic-money institution supervised by De Nederlandsche Bank. It went live in late 2024 alongside a euro sibling, EURQ, with early backing from crypto heavyweights including Tether and Kraken. Reserves sit in tier-one European banks and safe government bonds, segregated from the company's own funds, as MiCA's e-money token rules require. That framework gives holders a legal right to redeem at par on demand, subject to identity checks, a stronger consumer protection than most offshore dollars offer. USDQ circulates on Ethereum, Polygon, Algorand and the XRP Ledger. It is a compliance-first token built for a European market where regulators now decide which stablecoins exchanges may list at all.
