About Stable Mint USD
Reserves kept at 102 percent and a legal right to redeem at par on demand define USDSM, an EU-regulated dollar token issued under MiCA. Stable Mint Ltd, an electronic-money institution licensed by Malta's Financial Services Authority, backs each coin one-for-one with dollar cash deposits and high-quality liquid assets, held separately from company funds and neither lent out nor put into volatile instruments. Because it is structured as a MiCA e-money token, on-demand redemption at face value is a supervised legal entitlement for holders, not a discretionary favor. The token is issued as a standard ERC-20 across Etherlink, Ethereum, Base and Arbitrum, using LayerZero messaging to move between them. It is a small, compliance-led entrant competing for the European market that MiCA has carved out for fully reserved, redeemable stablecoins.
