About OpenDollar USDO
OpenEden backs USDO one-to-one with tokenized US Treasury bills rather than bank cash, making it a regulated yield-bearing dollar that rebases so holders see the Treasury return accrue directly in their balance. The reserves are its own TBILL tokens, which carry a Moody's investment-grade rating, and proof of those reserves is published on-chain in real time. The issuer, OpenEden Digital, is a Bermuda-based affiliate prudentially regulated by the Bermuda Monetary Authority and structured as a bankruptcy-remote segregated-account company to ring-fence holders. Direct minting and redemption run through OpenEden for onboarded, vetted participants, so retail typically transacts on the secondary market, and a non-rebasing wrapped version, cUSDO, exists for DeFi protocols that cannot handle a shifting balance. USDO lives across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base and Plasma, positioned as treasury-grade collateral that pays its own carry.
