About USDB Blast
Bridge a dollar stablecoin onto Blast and it comes out the other side as USDB, a token engineered to grow in your wallet on its own. Blast, an Ethereum layer-2 network launched in 2024, routes the stablecoins deposited into its bridge toward yield sources, historically short-dated US Treasury bills and the MakerDAO savings rate, then rebases that income back into holder balances so the count of USDB rises with no staking step. No company issues it in the usual sense; USDB is a bridged, collateral-backed dollar whose real claim is on the DAI locked behind it, and it converts back to DAI when a user bridges out to Ethereum. That makes redemption a protocol mechanic rather than a customer-service desk. It exists only on Blast, where it serves as the network's default interest-bearing cash for trading and DeFi.
