About USDGO
Issued by Anchorage Digital Bank, the only federally chartered crypto bank in the United States, USDGO is a compliance-first dollar aimed squarely at businesses rather than retail wallets. OSL Group, a Hong Kong-listed digital-asset firm, launched it as the distributor, pairing US federal banking oversight with Asia-focused reach, while Anchorage manages the reserves, minting and redemption and holds the backing one-to-one in dollars and high-quality liquid assets. The catch for an ordinary user is redemption: only institutions onboarded as Anchorage customers through Know-Your-Business checks can mint or redeem at par, so everyone else must buy and sell on the open market. It launched on Solana for fast, low-cost settlement, with an initial fifty million tokens minted and further networks planned. USDGO reads less like a consumer coin and more like plumbing for corporate treasury and cross-border payments.
