About Anzens USDA
Cardano long lacked a fully fiat-backed dollar of its own, and Anzens USDA was built to fill that gap as a Cardano-native token. It comes out of EMURGO, one of Cardano's founding entities, through its Anzens financial-services arm, and each token is meant to be redeemable one-for-one for actual dollars held with a qualified custodian, BitGo Trust. Unlike stablecoins that gate redemption to institutions, USDA offers a retail right: any user can mint or redeem at par after passing individual KYC or business verification, while Web3 users hold and transfer it permissionlessly. Anzens operates as a FinCEN-registered money-services business and says it holds no-objection letters across seventeen US states rather than a dedicated stablecoin charter. The project's path was slow, having paused an earlier 2023 launch over regulatory uncertainty before coming to market.
