About AUDD

AUDD gives the Australian dollar an onchain form, issued by AUDC Pty Ltd, a company tied to ASX-listed Novatti Group. Every token is meant to be backed one-for-one by Australian dollars held as cash or cash equivalents, and any holder can send AUDD back to the issuer to redeem the matching AUD, with the returned tokens burned. AUDC operates under an Australian Financial Services Licence from ASIC covering non-cash payment facilities, putting it inside the country's regulatory perimeter. The coin spreads unusually wide for its size, issued natively across Hedera, Stellar, the XRP Ledger, Solana, Ethereum, XDC, Base and Australia's own Redbelly network. It sits among a small cluster of AUD stablecoins competing for a domestic market that dollar coins have largely ignored, positioning itself as regulated local money for payments and settlement rather than a vehicle for yield.
