About Bucket Protocol BUCK Stablecoin

BUCK was the first collateralized-debt stablecoin native to Sui, minted when users lock assets such as SUI, bitcoin, ether or liquid-staking tokens and borrow the dollar-pegged coin against them at low fixed cost. Because it is always overcollateralized, the value backing BUCK exceeds the tokens in circulation, and holders redeem through Bucket Protocol's onchain modules rather than a company redemption desk. The protocol pairs a peg-stability module with a redemption mechanism to keep the coin near a dollar, and stakers can convert BUCK into sBUCK to earn savings yield. It runs solely on Sui, leaning on that chain's fast finality for liquidations and minting. BUCK is a fairly standard CDP dollar in the mold of MakerDAO's early DAI, adapted to a newer high-throughput network, and its stability rises and falls with the health of the crypto collateral locked behind it.
