Global X Space Tech ETF

Space has quietly turned into an investable industry, and ORBX aims to be a pure-play way into it. Global X's fund follows the Global X Space Tech Index, a narrow global basket of about 40 companies tied to the space economy: rocket and launch providers, satellite operators and communications firms, and the manufacturers that build the hardware. It is highly concentrated, with the top ten names accounting for close to three-quarters of assets, so the fund lives and dies on a small group of stocks. That focus reflects how few listed pure-play space companies there still are. Global X launched it in 2026 as commercial launch costs fell and satellite constellations multiplied. Investors treat it as a speculative, long-horizon bet on the space sector maturing, accepting the volatility that comes with a young, thin theme.
