About Moneta

Moneta's USDM holds the distinction of being Cardano's first fiat-backed stablecoin and one of Europe's earliest MiCA-compliant ones. Issued as a Cardano native token, it is fully backed by US dollar reserves, with reserve value continuously verified on-chain by the Charli3 oracle and every mint and burn recorded publicly on the ledger. Moneta Digital, a US FinCEN-registered money-services business with state licenses, stands behind it, and issuance across the EEA runs through the Norwegian Block Exchange under MiCA. Any user who completes Moneta's identity onboarding can mint or redeem directly for dollars in authorized jurisdictions, which gives ordinary holders a genuine par claim rather than a secondary-market-only exit. That regulatory footing, spanning a US money-services registration and European MiCA rails, is really the point of USDM: a compliant dollar for a blockchain whose native stablecoin options had been thin.
