About Royal Euro
Part of a Hong Kong stablecoin family that also mints dollar, gold and silver tokens, Royal Euro references the euro rather than the dollar. Issued by RIB Digital Holdings under the RCOINS program, REUR is meant to hold one euro of value, with the issuer stating that reserves are kept one-to-one in segregated bank accounts and supplemented by periodic audits. Issuance and redemption run strictly through authorized participants who clear KYC, AML and sanctions screening; there is no direct retail redemption, so ordinary holders acquire and exit the token on the market. It lives on BNB Chain, Ethereum and Tron, and sits within a broader effort to offer settlement and treasury tokens across several reference currencies. As a euro instrument from a smaller issuer, it remains thinly traded and niche, its credibility resting on the reserve claims and audit posture the issuer publishes.
