About Procure Space ETF
The first US-listed fund built around the space economy, UFO holds companies that actually earn their money above the atmosphere. It tracks a VettaFi space index whose rules require most constituents to derive at least half their revenue from space-related business: satellite operators, launch and rocket firms, ground-equipment makers, and space-based imaging and communications. That revenue test keeps the portfolio purer than broad aerospace-and-defense funds, where jet and weapons contracts dominate. Weighting leans toward the companies most exposed to space, and the names span several countries rather than just US primes. Investors buy it as a thematic wager that satellite broadband, launch demand and the commercialization of orbit keep growing. Procure launched it in 2019, and it remains one of the few pure-play options for the theme. The expense ratio is 0.75%.
