Nebius Group

Nebius is what was left of Yandex after the Russian internet giant sold off its home-country business. When Yandex divested its Russian assets in 2024, the Dutch-based parent kept a set of international operations and about a thousand engineers, renamed itself Nebius, and refocused entirely on building AI cloud infrastructure. Today it rents out GPU computing to companies training and running AI models, competing in the same fast-growing market as CoreWeave, and it holds stakes in several other tech ventures. Based in Amsterdam and listed in the United States, Nebius is an unusual story: a well-funded company with a corporate pedigree, spending heavily to build data centers in a race for AI capacity. The stock trades on how quickly it can grow that cloud business and on the market's appetite for the AI-infrastructure buildout, which makes it volatile and speculative.
