About StraitsX XUSD
StraitsX built its name on a regulated Singapore dollar token, and XUSD is its US dollar counterpart under the same MAS-licensed roof. Issued by StraitsX as a Major Payment Institution and acknowledged under Singapore's single-currency stablecoin framework, the token is fully backed by US dollar reserves and redeemable at par by verified holders directly with the issuer. Its purpose is settlement plumbing: paired with XSGD, it enables onchain foreign exchange between the two currencies, automated market-making and institutional payment flows, and the pair has processed billions of dollars in onchain volume. XUSD circulates on Ethereum and BNB Chain in this batch, with the issuer moving to widen its reach further. For users who want a dollar stablecoin issued inside a clear regulatory perimeter rather than an offshore structure, it offers a compliant Asian alternative to the incumbents.
