Defi.money

Defi.money is no longer an active stablecoin; its team wound the protocol down. It ran an autonomous credit facility that issued MONEY, a freely tradable decentralized dollar minted against crypto collateral in the mold of Curve's crvUSD. The project announced a decision to sunset the system, ending new issuance. While live, MONEY was an onchain, over-collateralized dollar redeemed through the protocol rather than any company, spread across Optimism, Arbitrum and Base. Any remaining MONEY should be read as a legacy balance from a discontinued protocol rather than an active, peg-maintained stablecoin. Without a credit facility actively managing collateral and redemptions, the dollar peg is no longer supported the way a running system would keep it. It stands as one of many small crvUSD-style forks that did not survive.
